About This Guide

Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam by UPSC for officer entry to Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers Training Academy (OTA). Twice yearly (Feb, Sept). Two stages: Written + SSB. 4 papers (or 3 for OTA). Apply at upsconline.nic.in.

Eligibility Criteria

• Indian male/female (married for OTA, unmarried for IMA/INA/AFA)
• Bachelor's degree (any stream for IMA/OTA)
• BE/BTech for AFA
• BSc Physics/Math for INA
• Age 19-25
• Medical fitness
